Pickup and Delivery Options

Taylor Beef Company offers multiple fulfillment options to accommodate customer preferences and geographic locations. Standard pickup is available at our Miles City, Montana facility at no additional charge. Scheduled deliveries to Billings, Montana are available for additional fees. National shipping is provided through FedEx for customers outside our local delivery area.

Customers must arrange fulfillment options and provide payment for shipping services before their beef order is released. All shipping and delivery charges are separate from beef pricing and must be paid independently of the final beef payment.

Standard Pickup at Miles City Facility

Customers may collect orders at our contracted Miles City, Montana processing facility during scheduled business hours. Pickup requires 48-hour advance notice to ensure proper order preparation and staff availability. Customers must provide valid identification and order confirmation documentation at time of pickup.

Orders will be properly frozen, packaged, and organized for efficient transfer to customer vehicles. Customers are responsible for providing adequate transportation with appropriate temperature control for their return journey. Taylor Beef Company recommends bringing coolers, insulated blankets, or refrigerated transportation for extended travel times.

National Shipping

Customers outside Montana or those preferring direct shipping can arrange FedEx or UPS delivery through our shipping partnership. All beef products are packaged in insulated containers with appropriate cooling materials to maintain proper temperatures throughout transit. Shipping containers are designed to keep products frozen for standard delivery timeframes plus additional buffer time for potential delays.

FedEx shipping costs vary based on package weight, dimensions, destination, and selected service level. Customers may choose from available FedEx service options including standard ground service, expedited delivery, or overnight shipping depending on urgency and budget considerations. Shipping quotes are provided individually for each order based on specific requirements and destination.

Shipping Payment and Processing

Shipping charges must be paid separately from beef costs before orders are released for shipment. We accept the same payment methods for shipping as for beef orders including cash, check, and credit card payments. Shipping costs cannot be included in financing arrangements and must be paid in full before shipment processing begins.

Orders are typically shipped within 48 hours of shipping payment receipt, processing completion, and/or proper packaging preparation. Customers receive tracking information for all shipped orders through email notification or customer portal updates. Delivery confirmation and signature requirements may apply depending on shipment value and customer preferences.

Customer Responsibilities for Receipt

Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive shipments during designated delivery periods. Delivery addresses must be accurate and accessible for delivery vehicles. Recipients should inspect packages immediately upon delivery and report any visible damage or temperature concerns to both the carrier and Taylor Beef Company on Montana.

Customers selecting pickup appointments must arrive on time with appropriate transportation and identification. Delayed pickup appointments may require rescheduling and could result in additional storage fees if extended storage is necessary.

Shipping Insurance and Liability

Taylor Beef Company of Montana maintains appropriate insurance coverage for products before shipping and delivery. Our liability for shipped products ends at delivery drop-off or scheduled pickup. Customers may opt for additional shipping insurance for high-value orders or additional peace of mind.

Claims for shipping damage, temperature failures, or delivery issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with appropriate documentation to the shipping company, with a CC to Taylor Beef Company of Montana. Investigation and resolution of shipping-related problems will be coordinated between Taylor Beef Company, the customer, and relevant carriers.
